On-Demand Computer Based Library version 3.0 Released
(06-Aug-10) OSIsoft announced today PI ProcessBook, PI DataLink, PI WebParts CBT v3.0, which featuring all-new performance-criteria based videos, and a larger variety of test questions. The 12 hours of video demonstrations and class exercises are available immediately to all subscribers of OSIsoft's On-Demand Computer Based Training. This library takes a new approach by providing a single voice and video demonstration for each common user task. Videos are longer or shorter depending on the complexity of the task--some up to 25 minutes long. The material is presented at the same level of detail you would get at one of our public classes, including all of the regular classes exercises complete with demonstrations of the solutions. PI Server 2010 in the Classroom
(03-Aug-10) OSIsoft will release our PI Server 2010 this week. This PI Server is the most comprehensive ever - integrating our popular PI Asset Framework (AF) database into the standard PI System (talk with you local sales person for details on eligibility and downloads). Look for all of our classes to be updated with new materials reflecting those new features beginning September 1, 2010.
On-Demand Computer Based Training - Where and When You Need It
(04-May-10) OSIsoft, LLC introduces a new subscription service to learn online how to use, configure, and manage the different client and server applications that make up the PI System. Subscribers will have access to the full set of 10 Computer Based Training courses to use anytime, anywhere from a web browser. Monthly and yearly subscriptions are available. The Online Computer Based Training (CBT) consists of 60+ hours of voice and video lectures, demonstrations, and exercises. Quizzes test your understanding and provide feedback specific to your answer and hints after an incorrect try. All of this runs over the web using either Internet Explorer or Firefox and a broadband internet connection. See the web page for details.
