Courses on CD

OSIsoft now offers a Computer Based Training (CBT) Series of courses that are designed for you to get the most out of your PI server and client applications.  Regardless of your level of knowledge or involvement, you can find a course that will help you learn more about using PI products.

Version 2.x of our CBTs have the following features:

• Quizzes at the end of each section to test your knowledge
• A new menu system that features hyperlinks within descriptive text as well as the traditional table of contents navigation method.

While these courses on disc are not replacements for the interaction of a live OSIsoft training class, they will provide the same comprehensive information taught in our classes.  Our CBTs are meant to be viewed interactively.  That is, you can perform the same exercises that the instructors guide students through during our regular class.  The accompanying documents make the class exercises available as well.  You will need the applicable applications installed to perform the exercises.

All of our courses on CD are designed to be stand-alone applications and require the most minimal computer resources to make them as easy-to-use as possible.  You can either distribute them to your users individually or install them on a central server for convenience. The computer based training products are licensed for individual use. However we encourage users to remove the CBT CD-ROM when they are finished to pass on to the next student. When the CBT is installed to run on a central server, the appropriate number of user licenses is required.

Support for LMS
All Version 2.x CBTs will be compliant with standard Learning Management Systems (LMS) for web delivery, test reporting, and user tracking. This offers customers student progress tracking and internet delivery via integration with a company wide LMS (through compliance with the SCORM v2.1 standard). Upgrade Your CBTs
If your company has a valid SRP agreement in place you can use the OSIsoft Technical Support website to upgrade your software.  Select the Support link above, choose Request a CD Shipment from the Contact Us menu, and fill in the require fields.

If your company does not have a valid SRP agreement in place you will have to follow the instructions above to order a new full version.
