Performance Equation Reference
This compiled help file contains a complete description of the Performance Equation (PE) engine used in many of the client tools and on the PI Server for PE tags.  It also contains a complete list and description (including syntax) of the performance equations.

Swinging Door Compression
A description of how the Swinging Door Data Compression algorithm used by OSIsoft compares to the DuPont Compression algorithm.

This is a detailed description of how PI Server applications calculate averages. Most averages in PI are time-weighted, and this document describes how this calculation is performed on a typical set of values.

Writing to the PI Server using Excel and the PIPutVal Function
